A: Evergreen Advocates engages and educates alumni, parents, students, and community members about the value of Evergreen and higher education. We share updates about current bills and proposals, keep you informed and engaged in Evergreen priorities. We'll also send urgent action updates for our advocates to send messages to their lawmakers in support of higher education and Evergreen.

Q: If I no longer live in Washington, should I still join?
A: Absolutely! Even if you’ve moved away, your Evergreen degree is a lifetime investment. By signing up for Evergreen Advocates, you will receive timely updates about issues facing Evergreen and you will be ready to assist if we need your help with contacting federal officials.
Q: Does Evergreen Advocates deal with state government or federal government issues?
A: Most of our work focuses on state-level issues directly impacting Evergreen. However, we may also engage with federal officials regarding federal programs, including financial aid, affecting Evergreen.
Q: I am an employee of Evergreen. May I still use Evergreen Advocate resources?
A: Evergreen employees should check with their supervisors. Typically, employees may participate, but only during non-working hours, on personal devices and using personal email addresses.
