About Us
Evergreen Advocates is a coalition of alumni and friends of Evergreen working to ensure that higher education is a priority in Washington State. Our coalition brings a strong voice to the Washington State Legislature and other elected officials to support higher education priorities.
Join us in our mission efforts to support Evergreen.
We mobilize Evergreen’s alumni and friends to act by contacting their elected officials. Outside of legislative sessions, we share news and information to keep our Advocates informed and engaged.
Evergreen Advocates is:
- Guided by the volunteers of The Evergreen State College Foundation’s Legislative Committee.
- Funded with private donations, not state resources.
- Non-partisan.
- Allied with Washington’s other 4-year institutions and community colleges, and the College Promise Coalition in support of higher education.
